The Belleville & Quinte West Special Olympics Bocce program welcomes athletes of all abilities, ages 8 and up, to enjoy this exciting and inclusive sport.

If you are a first-time athlete, you do first need to register with Special Olympics Ontario. When you have completed that, please tap the button below and sign up for your chosen sport.
Bocce is an Italian game. The basic principle of the sport is to roll a bocce ball closest to the target ball, which is called a palina.
Athlete to Coach Ratios
The ratios are minimum athlete to coach requirements for not only Conference competitions, Provincial, and National Games, but for all Special Olympics Ontario competitions and practices. They ensure that athletes are safe and supervised at all times.
