If you are a first-time athlete, you do first need to register with Special Olympics Ontario. When you have completed that, please tap the button below and sign up for your chosen sport.
Ten-pin bowling is a competitive sport in which a player (the "bowler") rolls a bowling ball down a wooden or synthetic lane with the objective of scoring points by knocking down as many pins as possible.
Sport Status
Ten Pin is a sport that is recognized at all levels of Special Olympics. Athletes can compete in club-level matches all the way up to the SOI World Games.
Sport Season
Ten Pin is a Spring sport for SOO. The season usually runs from October to May. For the National and World games, Ten Pin participates in the Summer Games.
Athlete to Coach Ratios
The ratios are minimum athlete-to-coach requirements for not only Conference competitions, Provincial, and National Games, but also for all Special Olympics Ontario competitions and practices. They ensure that athletes are safe and supervised at all times.
